Jim Wrigley

Beverage Manager at Library by the Sea

In over a quarter of a century working within all aspects of the international hospitality industry, Jim Wrigley has
done a lot.

From running some of the world’s top bars & restaurants in Edinburgh, London, New York & California to being an
award-winning International Brand Ambassador, Jim’s wide-range of expertise has seen him shake drinks at
Buckingham Palace, fix Martini’s for Bond and Tiki-up Caribbean beach bars – not to mention training some of the
bar industry’s best & brightest.

Following on from managing & directing bars such as Albannach, Lonsdale, Trailer Happiness & Made in the
Shade, and running operations for Bourne & Hollingsworth Group, Jim moved to the Caribbean where he plays a key
part in the evolving culinary and beverage scene both regionally and on a global level.

Regularly sharing his drinks expertise in film, print & radio, Jim also maintained roles coordinating international
events like Lisbon Bar Show & the UK Rumfest.

He is currently the Beverage Manager at the multi-award-winning Kimpton hotel group’s Seafire Resort and Spa in the Cayman Islands, and has recently opened the exciting Library by the Sea project within the property.
In his spare time Jim is an actor, and enjoys swimming and reading.

In a rum and cocktail-filled session, Jim Wrigley of Library by the Sea in Grand Cayman is joined by some of the rum world’s most charismatic figures, as they delve into the drinks, stories – and rums – of literary luminaries such as Charles Dickens and Haruki Murakami, but especially legendary Rummy, Ernest Hemingway.
