Ivan is a passionate marketeer and brand strategist, currently leading the aged rum category for Guatemalan Spirits. With a rich background in marketing and innovation spanning over 15 years in the beverages industry, Ivan commenced his career with SABMiller, contributing significantly in his native Ecuador and later in Peru.

In 2019, Ivan transitioned into the dynamic realm of rum, taking on the role of Senior Global Marketing Manager for the aged rum category at Guatemalan Spirits. His leadership extends to a global brands portfolio such as Botran Rum, Miracielo Rum (Colonial), Altabruma Rum, and others.
